Why Lookup Magnifying Glass Not Available In Supplier Registration Page in Supplier Portal? (Doc ID 2696141.1)

Lookup magnifying glass is not available in the Supplier registration page and it is not possible to use “Continue from where left off” on an existing registration using a lookup magnifying glass. It is getting a prompt button (drop down) instead of lookup option.
But if it registers the supplier as a user logged in employee portal, the individual user is able to view the lookup magnify glass. Why there is this difference?
