When hiring a new employee who lives and works in West Virginia , the State Marital Tax Status is defaulted to N.
Should the Marital Tax Status be default for West Virginia de defaulted to B( Two Earner Percentage Method) per below WV Government Tax Form?
"The tables provided in this booklet are to be used for ALL employees unless the employee has requested on the Withholding Exemption Certificate that tax be withheld at a lower rate.
The withholding tables included in this publication are based on two-earner/two-job income."
