GSS: Group Update Transactions Are Not Updating Fluid Position Data (Doc ID 2699780.1)

Symptoms

When using Fluid Position Management, and Group Update transactions are used to change for location, department and supervisor, the transaction is not updating fluid position data.

Only Job Data and Classic Position Data is updated.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Set Up HCM > Common Definition > Guided Self Service > Transaction Configuration under setup HCM > Common Definition > Guided Self Service > Transaction Configuration
2. Updated Group Update transaction to use action "Position Change"
3. Go to Update Team Information tile under Manager Self Service Dashboard
4. Click on Update Job Details for Group
5. Select employees and submit transaction to update Department
6. After transaction is approved and changes are saved to the database, note the Department in Fluid Position Data was not updated
