E-AD: Getting Security Error "Access to <RecordName> (Record).Record was denied." when Trying to Build a Record Definition. (Doc ID 2700776.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to Build a Record Definition, the following error occurs.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1- Open an existing Record Definition.
2- Do some change. It could be a minor change, such as an update to its Description. Click OK.
3- Do not save, but click on Build instead.
4- The dialog asking to save changes to the Record pops up. Click Yes.
5- The Record Properties dialog will open. Click OK.
6- Error is shown: "Access to <RecordName> (Record).Record was denied."

    where <RecordName> is the name of the Record Definition.
