(Doc ID 2700802.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 05, 2021
Applies to:
PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.56 and laterGeneric Windows
Symptoms
Sample Environment:
-------------------------
Tools 8.56.20
HCM 9.2 Test environment
Net Express 5.1 wp6 and Visual COBOL Build Tools compilers
Windows 2016
After applying tax updates, when compiling all cobol programs using cblbld script, some cobol programs fail to compile. When the compile script is run again, a different set of cobol programs fail to compile. i.e cobol programs that compiled in the previous compile might fail during this run and some cobol programs that did not compile in the previous run, might compile in the current run.
A <program> .lis file is generated for the programs that fail to compile, but there is no error in the lis file. Issue replicated with Net Express 5.1 wp6 and Visual COBOL Build Tools compilers.
Sample compile output:
-------------------------------
Compile error for PAPCBENC.obj
Compile error for PAPXAERN.obj
Compile error for PSPBIENR.obj
Compile error for PSPDCRUN.obj
