EGM: GM_RTRO_FA ABENDED at Step GM_RTRO_FA.APP_ONL.AUDIT (Action SQL) -- RC = 805 (Doc ID 2704125.1)

Symptoms

Grants > Awards > Process Retroactive F&A (GM_RTRO_FA) process abended with Unique Constraint on GM_PRJ_AUDIT in the following scenario.



Replication Steps: 

  1. Create a proposal, submit and generate an award. Finalize Project Budgets
  2. On the Project Activity FA Rate tab, Use the rates as 10,10 and 12 for institution, sponsor and funded FA Rates.
  3. Process ACT rows for the project that generates SFA and WFA transactions are created in PROJ_RESOURCE
  4. Run GM_GMFACS process that creates the SFA rows
  5. Reduce the Funded FA Rate (Project Activity component) from 12 to 10. Run GM_RTRO_FA process for the project with "Requires Approval" checkbox checked
  6. Using Review Retroactive F&A, review the transactions, approve and process the transactions.
  7. GM_RTRO_FA process creates necessary adjustment rows are created for both the SFA and WFA rows
  8. No Change to FA rates. Run GM_RTRO_FA process for the project with "Requires Approval" checkbox checked
  9. No Changes are observed in the data for the project in PROJ_RESOURCE
  10. Using Review Retroactive F&A, review the transactions and select the transactions and process.
  11. No changes observed in PROJ_RESOURCE
  12. Make No additional changes to the Project FA Setup and Run Retro F&A again. This time run with "Requires Approval" checked off
  13. The proesss abended at Step GM_RTRO_FA.REV_NREQ.AUDIT2 (Action SQL) -- RC = 805 ROLLBACK. In PROJ_RESOURCE a new WFA row is created for 2%. This is not expected.
  14. Using a new run control, run the GM_RTRO_FA using a new run control with "Requires Approval" checkbox on.
  15. Using Review Retroactive F&A, review the transactions, approve and process the transactions.
  16. The process abends with the above error message
