E-BI/XMLP: BI Publisher Report Run to Invald Printer Goes to "Success" Status in Process Monitor With No Report Printed (Doc ID 2706175.1)

When running a BI Publisher report to an invalid printer, the process goes to incorrect status of "Success", instead of going into "Error".

No report is printed.

In order to replicate the issue, follow the below steps:

  1. Log into PIA.
  2. Navigate to PeopleTools > Process Scheduler > System Process Request page.
  3. Create a new run control id.
  4. Run XRFWIN BI Publisher report to output of Printer and choose an invalid printer.
  5. Process XRFWIN finishes in "Success" but the generated output is not printed due to the invalid printer name.
