E-AD/E-PC: Shortcut Key <F3> For "Find Next" is not Working in PT 8.58 Application Designer 'Find' Dialog Box (Doc ID 2707274.1)

Symptoms

In PeopleTools 8.58, the shortcut key, <F3> does not allow the user to use the "Find Next" feature in Application Designer.  This works in all versions prior to PT 8.58.  This short key is defined in PeopleBooks:

PeopleCode Developer's Guide -> Peoplecode Editor Short Cut Keys -> Short Cut Keys in the PeopleCode Editor

The issue can be replicated with the following steps:

  1. Log into 2-tier Application Designer
  2. Open any PeopleCode
  3. Use the short cut key <CTRL><F> to open the "Find" dialog box
  4. Type in any string to search
  5. Use short cut key <F3> to find next
  6. Observe that nothing happens
