Symptoms


In PT 8.58.05, the system is hanging for course for such as 1*** and 4**** but does not hang for same courses in PT 8.56.21 in class search on the course catalog page and other pages that use the PS_CRSE_OFFER.CATALOG_NBR

Changes

 The following justifies how the issue is related to this specific customer: It was discovered that there were some courses that were entered as SQL and not through PeopleSoft PIA application. When the SQL insert was performed some CLOB values were entered as EMPTY_CLOB() which caused the issue.
