Error (10000,167) when add Ship to Location effective date with Exception Type = 'Exempt/Exonerated' and Sales/Use Tax Applicability = 'Exempt'.
According PeopleBooks Ship to Location definition:
"Sales/Use Tax Info. If the exception type is Exempt, then SUT applicability must be Exempt."
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Go to Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Product Related > Procurement Options > Purchasing > Ship to Locations. Enter Location and search
2. Add new row (Effective Date)
3. Go to Sales/Use Tax link
4. Select Exception Type = 'Exempt/Exonerated', Enter with Excpt Date and Sales/Use Tax Exception Certif.
Enter Sales/Use Tax Applicability as 'Exempt' and save it.
5. Got the message: 'At least one Taxable Sales/Use Tax Information is required for Exception Type None. (10000,167)
The Tax Exception Type of None requires at least one Taxable Sales/Use Tax Information to be established.'
6. The message does not reflect the Exception type, in this case is 'Exempt/Exonerated'.
