E-ORA: After Implemented PS Tables Partitioning, Select COUNT(*) SQL Returns Zero Rows For Partitioned Table (Doc ID 2712338.1)

Symptoms

On : PT 8.57.14/FSCM 9.2 PUM 30, Database-Oracle

After used the PeopleSoft Partitioning utility to partition a table, the select count(*) returns zero rows, even though the table has data.


Steps:
-----------------------
1.used Partitioning Utility to generate the partition ddl. e.g. currency_cd_tbl, set with range list
2.selected local index for the table partitioned.
3.opened the record definition in app designer, appy the table partitioning setting, and selected save.
4.build the current definition (e.g. alter table) to build and run the SQL script.

NOTE: the last local index creation sql must be built and run!
