E-ExcelToCI/CI: Getting "Runtime Error '9' Subscript out of Range" Error Uploading Data Using ExcelToCI (Doc ID 2714196.1)

Symptoms

Sample site is on PeopleTools (PT) 8.56.05. When uploading 900 records using a small/medium sized Component Interface (CI), the following error occurred.

 

 


The issue can be reproduced using the following steps:
1. Open the ExcelToCI spreadsheet, fill in the connection information, and download the template.
2. Add a large amount of test data (for example, 900 records), and upload the data.
