E-PPR/E-GLOBAL: Missing 01/01/1900 entries (Default Effective Dated Row) for Various PeopleSoft Delivered Time Zones (Doc ID 2715080.1)

Last updated on APRIL 04, 2025

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.57 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Missing default Effective Dated row for various PeopleSoft delivered Time Zones.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to PeopleTools > Utilities > International > Time Zones.
Note that several Time Zones are missing the default effective dated row AND are not listed in Time Zone Mapping (PeopleTools > Utilities > International > Time Zone Mapping).
  2. Add one of the missing default Effective Dated rows.
  3. Save.

Error is displayed: "Time Zone <Time Zone code> has no default datetime 01/01/1900 12:00:00AM".

If adding the default effective dated row for that Time Zone code, upon saving the page, it issues the error again for another Time Zone. It will go like that until the last missing default effective dated row is added.
