E-PORTAL : SQL Error on page Configure Event Mapping when using "Unrestricted Prompt" option on a Microsoft SQL server DB (Doc ID 2716566.1)

Symptoms

When setting up a related event on Component Record Field Level Event Mapping, trying to select the field name after a record was selected following SQL error is triggered.


A SQL error occurred. Please consult your system log for details.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to PeopleTools > Portal > Related Content Service > Manage Related Content Service
2. Go to event Mapping Tab.
3. Click on the Map the event of the Application pages link
4. Configure event mapping by adding any page
5. Select Enable, Unrestricted Prompt and click on the lookup prompt for the Field Name field in the "Component Record Field Level Event Mapping" section.

(or)

1. Navigate to PeopleTools > Portal > Related Content Service > Manage Related Content Service
2. Go to event Mapping Tab.
3. Click on "Edit" for any of the existing "Content References"
4. Scroll down to Component Record Field Level Event Mapping section
5. Check "Unrestricted Prompt" checkbox to Yes
6. Click on the lookup prompt for the Record Name field in the "Component Record Field Level Event Mapping" section and choose a record.
7. Click on the lookup prompt for the Field Name field in the "Component Record Field Level Event Mapping". Get SQL Error message
