Symptoms

When setting the remove-pdf-fields property under the PDF Template property group (under either the “Properties” tab of BI Publisher Report Definition, or under the “Global Properties” page), the displayed value under the “Default” column could be incorrect, depending on the value of the psxp_pdf_optimized property (under the “PeopleTools Settings” property group). Currently, The default is always displayed as “False”, however the BI Publisher engine default for this property is actually changed to “True” in the case when the psxp_pdf_optimized property is set to “True”. In essence, the default for property remove-pdf-fields will always mirror the value set for psxp_pdf_optimized.
