E-PIA: SetSearchEdit Method, Used in SearchInit Events of Search Record Fields, Triggers a Required Asterisk ('*') in PIA for These Fields

Symptoms
Required asterisks have been seen in PIA after upgrading to PT 8.58 versions on diverse delivered search pages.
Upon further investigations, these asterisks are not triggered by the Required property which can be set in the record field properties. These asterisks seem to be triggered by the SetSearchEdit Method used in the SearchInit events of the search record fields.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login in PIA
2. Navigate to a search page (for example in CS app: Records and Enrollment > Enroll Students > Enrollment)
3. See the look of the fields
