Symptoms

When attempting to run the ISIR File Load, FAPSAR00 COBOL process, the following error occurs, as shown in the COBOL log.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Navigate to Financial Aid > File Management > ISIR Import > Process ISIRs > ISIR File Load and run the process.
2. Click link to Process Monitor and note when process ends in Error status.
3. Click details link for the process instance, then the link that says 'View Log/Trace', then the link to the .log file in the file list, and note the detailed error message.

Changes

The error will be typically be seen after applying application patches that have updated code related to ISIR processing. For example, the most recent instance was reported after applying the fix for <Bug 34711022> - FAPSAR00 ORA-00001: UNIQUE CONSTRAINT (SYSADM.PS_SFA_NAC_BREQ) VIOLATED.
