Applies to:
PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Financial Aid - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When attempting to run CODIN, to process COD records sent in unsolicited system generated message classes such as CRPN and CRBN, the following errors occur in the SFA_COD_IN step of the process, as shown in the .stdout file.
CRPN file example:
In these log excerpts, the process abends due to the error(s). In other cases, the process may not abend - it will finish in a status of 'success' - but one or more of the error messages, probably especially the 'COD Lookup Table not found', may result in the file information not getting updated correctly in the COD staging table(s).
The issue may also be specific only to certain files, while other or even most files in the same message class will process successfully.
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
- Navigate to Financial Aid > File Management > COD Full Participant > Import COD Response Data > Common Origination and Disbursement Inbound.
- Populate the fields on the run control.
- Run the process.
