Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.58 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Sample site is on PeopleTools (PT) 8.58.04. While working through workflow related activites (for example, requisition approval), PIA users are signed out of PIA if the Adhoc Approver or Reviewer lookup button is clicked without first entering a keyword.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps (example below uses FSCM's requisition functionality):

1. Log into PIA, create a requisition if in FSCM (or other functionality that uses AWE approvals), and submit it for approval.

2. Click on the "+", and add a reviewer or approver.

3. Press the look up button without providing an EMPLID in the look up field.

4. The page spins for a long time, and then the user is signed out.
