Last updated on NOVEMBER 23, 2021

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise SCM Billing - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Preload is inheriting, summarized AR from UAR incorrectly when Use_pc_cfs Flag is off on the contract.

BI_ACCT_ENTRY Table shows Project Id for AR Lines is not getting inherited correctly when Bill data is coming from contracts.
Example: Bill has 6 lines.
Line 1 amount 50, project A.
Line 2 amount 100, project A.
Line 3 amount 20, project B.
Line 4 amount 50, project B.
Line 5 amount 100, project C.
Line 6 amount 100, project C.
After running a single action job, BI_ACCT_ENTRY should show 6 UAR rows and 3 AR lines for each project.

Correct Lines should be :

Line 1 AR with Project A as 150.
Line 2 AR with Project B as 70.
Line 3 AR with Project C as 200.

It shows lines as below ( Incorrect behaviour):
Line 1 AR with Project A as 150.
Line 2 AR with Project B as 70.
Line 3 AR with Project A as 200.

1. Chartfield Inheritance for Receivables and Billing is 'always inherit' for Project Id.
2. In Billing integration option, AR options and AR Distribution is set on Header level and update AR with PC chartfield is checked.
3. Enter contract with rate based lines, Use PC chart field is not checked.
4. Have multiple lines with different projects.
5. Enter bill plan as incurred.
