Symptoms

When installing a PUM (PeopleSoft Update Manager) Image on Linux, the following error occurs with the Oracle 19c database deployment in the psft_dpk_setup.log.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Start the PUM Image DPK setup.
  2. Proceed through the DPK setup prompts to deploy a PUM Image database.
  3. Error occurs when deploying the Oracle 19c database.
