Symptoms


When attempting to add a new academic career on the career table, the following error occurs.

ERROR

Field does not exist -- DERIVED_SR.ACAD_CAREER. (2,104) ACAD_CAR_TBL.DESCRSHORT.RowInit PCPC:97 Statement:3
A reference to a record.field name was made and the record.field name was not found to exist. Verify that the field exists on the page in which the PeopleCode program is being executed.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Add translate value to the ACAD_CAREER field
2. Navigate to the Academic Career Table to add the new career
3. When selecting value from drop down, the error is received
