Symptoms

VP1 account is being locked very frequently after changing the password in PSOPRDEFN, integration gateway properties, Web configuration properties, Application Configuration, and process scheduler in all the application and web domains. VP1 is used in many places in PeopleSoft, including Call Back User in Search Instance Configuration.
