Fliud Open Enrollment Statements Do Not Show the Correct Benefit Plan Description (Doc ID 2730717.1)

Symptoms

A Benefit Plan name is changed on the Benefit Plan Table, Description field effective the month prior the new Open Enrollment's benefit plan year.

When employees are reviewing their confirmation statements, the older Benefit Plan name is shown rather than the new name. 


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Change a benefit plan's description effective dated the month prior to the new benefit plan year.  Navigation: Setup HCM > Product Related > Base Benefits > Plans and Providers > Benefit Plan Table.
2. Run the Online Confirmation Statements.  Navigation:  Benefits >  Manage Automated Enrollment >  Participant Enrollment >  Online Confirmation Statements.
2. Log in as an employee and review the preview and confirmation statements.  Navigation:  Employee Self Service > Benefits Details > Benefit Statements.
