Symptoms

External user’s sign status shows as ‘Initial’ instead of ‘Pending' when external user receiving an email for signature.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Configure OAuth for Adobe Sign
Add VP1 : Admin
VP2 : Account User
2. Login VP2
Create contract Entry
3. Click Add a Document
Import the Document
4. Click Bypass Approvals
5. Click Prepare and Route for e-Signature
First email address > Sign Order : 1 > External Signer is unchecked
Second email address > Sign Order : 2 > External Signer is Checked
6. Sign the document by the first signer
Issue : External user’s sign status shows as ‘Initial’ instead of ‘Pending
