E-PC: Psdmtx.exe and Pside.exe Ignore the Settings From Configuration Manager When Executed Through Peoplecode (Doc ID 2733191.1)

Goal

Why psdmtx.exe and pside.exe are ignoring the settings from pscfg/Windows registry when they are executed through PeopleCode ?

When executing an export script with psdmtx.exe (using relative filenames for log and output files) there is inconsistent behavior:

    1. When executing the script through command line using the SYSTEM user, the output and log file are generated in the correct folders (as visible in the registry for the SYSTEM user)
    2. When executing the script through the peoplecode Exec function, the output and log files are put in the PS_HOME\data and PS_HOME\log folders, ignoring the settings from the Windows registry.

Similar to this, the build settings and paths for pside.exe can also be set in registry, and it's behaving in the same way.
