E-MCF: Application Server Crash When Testing HTTPS Protocol on Sample Page (Doc ID 2733959.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.


Sample site is on PeopleTools (PT) 8.57.18, and is testing email functionality. On the connector tab of the node that uses Getmailtarget connector, such as MCF_GETMAIL node, MCF_Protocol is set to HTTPS. When getting the email count from the Sample Pages, the application server crashed with the following errors.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps: 

1. Log into PIA, Navigate to PeopleTools>Integration Broker>Integration Setup>Nodes and open the node with GetMailTarget connector, such as MCF_GETMAIL node. Go to Connector tab of , set MCF_Protocol to HTTPS.

2. Navigate to PeopleTools>MultiChannel Framework>Emails>Sample Page.

3. Get the email count, and observe the errors.
