E-MCF: Getting Zero Email Count When Testing Email Count in Sample Pages (Doc ID 2734914.1)

Symptoms

Sample site is on PeopleTools (PT) 8.57.12. Testing email count on Sample Pages returns zero count even though there is more than one email in the inbox. 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. In PIA, navigate to PeopleTools > Integration Broker > Integration Setup > Node, and open the node with GetMailTarget Connector, eg. MCF_GETMAIL node.

2. Update MCF_server to some dummy value.

3. Navigate to PeopleTools > MultiChannel Framework > Emails > Sample Pages.

4. Get email count, and notice that it returns zero.
