Rate Code in Job Data is Duplicated when the Salary Plan Information is Updated in Position Data Page (Doc ID 2735443.1)

When making changes to the Salary Plan Information of a Position, the incumbents are placed into the new Step but the previous Rate Code is not removed from the Pay Components in Job Data.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Navigator > Organizational Development > Position Management > Maintain Positions/Budgets > Add/Update Position Data: 

    Add new effective dated row and enter a Salary Step in the Salary Plan Information section

  2. On Specific Information tab, select 'Update Incumbents' and 'Include Salary Plan/Grade' and Save:

           The system is triggering the following message: The incumbent update has changed the Salary Plan Information for employee XXX on the following Job Data rows

           Empl ID: XXX, Empl Record: 0, Effective Date: YYYY-MM-YY, Effective Seq:0

           Prior Salary Plan XX, Grade AA, Step 1

           New Salary Plan YY, Grade BB, Step 2

           Please review these Job Data rows. The Salary Plan changes may be inappropriate for the incumbent and should be reviewed. (0,0)

        3. Navigator > Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data - Compensation Tab :

           Check that the Salary Plan/Grade of the incumbent was updated, but in the Compensation tab the old and new Pay Components are included.
