Aid Year Rollover for FA Term Tables Results in Missing Term(s) and 'not setup in Term Values Cross walk' Message in Log (Doc ID 2736015.1)

When running aid year rollover, and the 'fa term tables' step, one (or more) of the terms from the prior aid year isn't being rolled over to the valid terms for career and fa term setup tables.

For example: there are four terms set up in both tables for all careers and the source aid year 2021. The expectation is that the equivalent four values will be created for aid year 2022. Three of the aid year 2022 terms end up created, but one is missing.

In the log file there one or more references to a term "not setup in Term Values Cross walk", but this is not the term that missing in 2022 and is not one of the terms included in the Term Values Cross Reference table, so it's not clear what the message is referring.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Set Up SACR > Product Related > Financial Aid > Aid Year > Term Values Cross Reference for the new aid year.
  2. Enter a row for each term in the prior year that is being rolled over to the new year.
  3. Navigate to Set Up SACR > Product Related > Financial Aid > Aid Year > Aid Year Setup.
  4. Enter the Aid Year Criteria information and check the 'FA Term Tables' box.
  5. Run the process
