Names Entered in Croation Language Are Not Displaying Correctly (Doc ID 2738626.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to enter a name in the Croatian language, the name doesn't display correctly after saving to the database. The characters initially show correctly on the Current Names grid, but after saving, certain characters are replaced with an upside-down question mark. 

The issue can be replicated at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Main Menu >> Campus Community >> Personal Information(Student) >> Add/update person.
  2. Put in the emplid and click on ‘Names’.
  3. Click on ‘Name History’.
  4. Click on ‘Edit Name’.
  5. Apply the Name and click on ‘OK'.
  6. Observe name still displays correctly at this point, and click on ‘OK’.
  7. Observe name still displays correctly at this point, and click on ‘OK’.
  8. Observe name still displays correctly at this point, and click on ‘Save’ button, after which the name will display incorrectly.
