Symptoms


System Not Checking for duplicate TINS or DUNS numbers when a supplier registration is submitted

when a supplier registration is submitted, system is not checking whether the TINS or DUNS numbers are a duplicate of those in our Supplier database


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Update an existing supplier with a TIN number
2. Go to supplier portal and register a new supplier with same TIN number as in step-1
3. New supplier created with duplicate TIN
