Last updated on FEBRUARY 08, 2021

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise SCM Order Management - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Sales Order/Quote Copy (OM_ORDCOPY) process is not Copying the Right Sales Order Unit Cost (UNIT_COST_ALT).

Setup and Replication Steps:

1. As reference check for one sales order (SO) with two items with different 'Unit per Cost' values
Navigate: Cost Accounting > Item Costs > Review Costs > Item Cost
Unit per Cost Item 1= 78.0308
Unit per Cost Item 2= 5.7191
2. Create SO from the old SO with Sales Order/Quote Copy (OM_ORDCOPY) process
Navigate: Order Management > Quotes and Orders > Process Orders > Sales Order/Quote Copy
Notice the new SO has UNIT_COST_ALT = 78.0308 with the same value for all sales order lines processed from the old SO, but when open the SO from PIA 'Alt Unit Cost' = 5.7191, that is right as per Item Cost.
