E-WF: After PeopleTools 8.58 Upgrade, Getting 'Key Too Long : ComponentDefn.PgmDefn : MaxLen=4' Error when Clicking on Worklists (Doc ID 2749208.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading from PeopleTools (PT) 8.56 to 8.58, clicking on any worklist in PIA generates the error message below instead of launching the approval page when using Chrome browser.

 

When using Internet Explorer (IE), nothing happens when clicking on a worklist entry, and no errors are seen.

The worklists have been carried over from the old environment to the upgraded environment. The PeopleSoft administrator performed data cleanup on the PSWORKLIST record, but issue persists.
