E-IB: The "Secure Keystore Value Defined" Checkbox is Sometimes Deselected (Unchecked) on the Node Network Page

Symptoms
While on the Node Network page in PIA, the "Secure Keystore Value Defined" checkbox is sometimes found to be unchecked (deselected).
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Start/Restart the PIA web server.
2. After a few hours, log into PIA, and navigate to PeopleTools > Integration Broker > Integration Network Workcenter > Node Network.
3. Notice that the Secure Keystore Value Defined checkbox is unchecked.
