GP/AM: After Applying PUM 37 GP_PAYE Fails on COBOL GPPIDNT5 in Microsoft SQL Server Environments (Doc ID 2750133.1)

Symptoms

After applying PUM 37, Microsoft SQL Server users, running Absence or Global Payroll Calculation, will have the GP_PAYE portion of the calculation run to error.

Steps to Reproduce:

(after maintenance has been applied, run Absence Management process)

  1. Main Menu>Global Payroll and Absence Management>Absence and Payroll Processing>Calculate Absence and Payroll
  2. Enter run control information (for Identify/Calculate phase)
  3. Run the process; GP_PAYE aborts and the log file shows the below error message.
