When Using the Route Applicant Notification the Response Due Date is Hardcoded to "EEEE, MMMM dd,yyyy" Format (Doc ID 2753903.1)

Symptoms

When routing an applicant by supplying a Response Due Date, the date format in the notification template (HRS_APP_RTE) is using a specific format which is not acceptable to certain Regions.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Navigate to Recruiting > Search Job Openings : Open a Job Opening
  2. Select an Applicant > Click on Route Applicant button : Fill in the Response Due Date and click on Submit 
  3. Check the email : observe the Default Format in the The Notification template (HRS_APP_RTE) has the American Format (e.g. DMY - Wednesday, 09 September, 2020)

Changes

If the recipient has personalized the date preferences, the date should be formatted based on the personalization.

If personalization does not exist then the format should be based on system preference applicable for user’s Primary Permission list.

If selected recipient does not have a user profile then the system preference should be selected.
