Symptoms

Using a SQL object and Fetch method, to select a LONG column into a PeopleCode variable, causes the Application Server to crash. If the column being selected is not of type LONG, the code executes just fine.

In the example below, column high_value, in table dba_tab_subpartitions, is of type LONG. The SQL object selects that column and the Fetch method loads its value into PeopleCode variable &highvalue.
