Symptoms

When calculating either INAS or INAS NCP, the non-biological parents' income and assets are being factored in to the calculations, when College Board's intent is to include only the biological parents in the calculation.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Load profile, with custodial and non-custodial parent information that also includes the non-biological parent(s).
  2. Navigate to Financial Aid > Institutional Application Data > Maintain Application 20nn-20nn > Non Custodial Parent Data and click INAS NCP button.
  3. Navigate to one of the other tabs of the component and click INAS.
