Symptoms
A journal with an old account was created with reversal option of beginning of next period. This journal was edited successfully since the old account used was in the Combo Rule A.
The journal was posted and created a reversal entry with a journal date in the current period. Although the new Combo Rule B for this current period does not have the old account,
the reversal entry created was edited successfully.
- Combo Rule A contained old account for the BU that terminated at the end of the last period.
- Combo Rule B is effective in the current period for the same BU and does not contain the old account.
The expectation is that, the reversal journal should end in error. Is this a bug?
