PRP (PeopleSoft Release Patchset) Patch 31895942 - DEFAULT EXIT TO A SPECIFIC COMPONENT has been applied to Campus Solutions 9.2 PUM 20.  A change package is created from PUM 20 containing the fix for Patch 31895942 - DEFAULT EXIT TO A SPECIFIC COMPONENT and applied to a target environment on PeopleTools 8.57. 

The SYSAUDIT report shows the following in the PEOPLECODE section:

Compile all PeopleCode starting: 2021-03-08 at 15.46.39 (variable auto-declared warning messages not included)
CPU num = 2.
pspccompiler num = 3.
Error compiling program:
[^APPLICATION_PACKAGE.SCC_TM_PUSH_NTF.APPLICATION_CLASS.CSPushNotification.METHOD.OnExecute]^ IsEmailEnabled is not a method of class
PTPN_PUBLISH:PublishToWindow. (2,52) ^ SCC


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Apply PRP Patch 31895942 - DEFAULT EXIT TO A SPECIFIC COMPONENT to Campus Solutions 9.2 PUM 20;
  2. Create a change package from PUM 20 containing the fix for Patch 31895942 - DEFAULT EXIT TO A SPECIFIC COMPONENT;
  3. Apply the change package to a target environment on PeopleTools 8.57 or lower;
  4. Run the SYSAUDIT report.

 

Note:  This same error may occur on some pages such as Activity Guide and Enrollment  if the error was not noticed during the patch application process.
