User Profile Clean Up Processes Statement 'DELETE From PS_ASSN_SETVAL_TMP' Causes ORA-00257 Archiver Stuck Error (Doc ID 2759789.1)

The User Profiles Management Process Application Engine USERPROFILE may be run multiple times a day to ensure that student user profiles are created in sufficiently timely fashion. Each time following the completion of USERPROFILE, the User Profile Cleanup Processes are run next, via Set Up SACR > Security > Secure Student Administration > Process > User Profiles Mgmt - Clean Up. One of the statements executed by this process is 'DELETE from PS_ASSN_SETVAL_TMP'.

In at least one reported instance, launching at least four iterations of 'DELETE from PS_ASSN_SETVAL_TMP' in a 5-hour window caused the parameter db_recovery_file_dest_size  to reach 900 GB, resulting in the error 'ORA-00257 archiver stuck'.

The issue wasn't seen previously on the Campus Solutions 9.0 release. The issue can be worked around by increasing the database parameter db_recovery_file_dest_size to a larger size such as 1500Gb, but is there a better solution for resolving or preventing the issue?
