E-PORTAL: Logging Into Portal And Clicking Over An URL Returns Error Message "Please Make Sure Webserver And Appserver Are Up" (Doc ID 2760966.1)

Symptoms

After PeopleTools upgrade from 8.56.09 to 8.58.09 and CRM database upgrade the application server crashes whenever CRM database is accessed returning following errors:

- "Please Make Sure Webserver And Appserver Are Up"


Users are able to sign in into Portal Signon however when a link is accessed in the navigator menu is VP1 user is kicked out with "An error has occurred".
In current architecture there were two nodes the nodes and URI is set under Portal tab.
The application server points to process_state crash being generated when user tries any links in navigator.

Changes

PeopleTools environment was upgraded from 8.56.09 to 8.58.09 and database was refreshed with a copy used in demo and testing environment.
