EEX9.2: Open Transactions For Inactive Employee Grid Inaccurately Shows Zeros For Travel Authorizations (Doc ID 2762330.1)

Symptoms

Open Transactions for Inactive Employee grid inaccurately shows zeros for Travel Authorizations.


REPLICATION STEPS

-----------------------

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in with VP1 - Create Travel Authorization;
  2. Upon populating fields, click on Submit Travel Authorization;
  3. Click on OK;
  4. Travel Authorization has been submitted for approval;
  5. Go to Update Profile and inactivate EMPLID KU0021;
  6. Supervisor ID is KU006 (William Scott);
  7. Check WorkCenter- there is no Open Transaction for Inactive Employee yet;
  8. Go to Peopletools/Security/User Profiles/ User Profiles and check for William Scott;
  9. Log in with Supervisor ID MGR1 (William Scott) to approve TA;
  10. Click on Approve for Authorization ID created previously - Successfully approved;
  11. Now link to Open Transactions for Inactive Employee is active;
  12. Travel Authorization is 0 and Total Amount is 0 as well- which is not correct;
  13. Check the table:

SELECT * FROM PS_EX_TAUTH_HDR WHERE EMPLID ='KU0021' The total amount is populated in the table correctly.
