E-PTF: PTF Client Login Error "An Error Occurred While Making an HTTP request to HTTPS://*****/PSIGW/HttpListeningConnector" (Doc ID 2763843.1)

Symptoms

When logging into PTF client, the following error occurred:


ERROR

There was an error when PeopleSoft Test Framework was trying to login.

Message: An error occurred while making an HTTP request to https://*****/PSIGW/HttpListeningConnector. This could be due to the fact that the server certificate is not configured properly with HTTP.SYS in HTTPS case.
This could also be caused by a mismatch of the security binding between the client and the server.

InnerException: The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Launch the PTF client either by double-clicking the PTF shortcut or navigating to Start, All Programs, PeopleSoftTest Framework.
2. Enter Database Name, Server and Port.
3. Login with the correct username and password.
4. Error message displays

 

Changes

 Weblogic Patch 32300397 (12.2.1.3.201217) and JDK 1.8.0_281 were both applied from the January CPU.
