Goal
1. Navigate to Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Security > Journal Source Security Role;
2. Assume that Role ANALYST is assigned journal source security for a Business Unit as following:
'Allow Access' selected for source ONL
'Allow Access' NOT selected for source CFO
No source security configuration defined for source EXT.
Considering this set up assumption, answer to the following questions:
1. For Source CFO would a user[with ANALYST role assigned] be able to
Create a journal from create/update journal entry page ?
Create/update a journal using spreadsheet import template JRNL1_WS ?
Edit a Journal with Source CFO online/batch ?
Mark a journal to Post/Unpost with source CFO and posting/unposting?
Search journals with this source on Review Financial Information >> Journal Page while inquiring journal data for Business Unit?
2. For Source EXT would a user[with ANALYST role assigned] be able to
Create a journal from create/update journal entry page ?
Create/update a journal using spreadsheet import template JRNL1_WS ?
Edit a Journal with Source EXT online/batch ?
