Replication Steps

Case 1: With Commitment Control ON at installation Options for Project Costing and Grants

    1. Navigate to Grants -> Awards -> Award Profile (Award Tab)
    2. Search for a Contract/Award. Notice that the Project Start Date, Project End Date, Commitment Control Begin Date, and Commitment Control End Date fields are displayed next to the Project
    3. Select the ‘Funding’ Tab of the Award Profile (or any of the other tabs on this page)
    4. Go back to the ‘Award’ tab by selecting the tab (after having selected the ‘Funding’ tab or any of the other tabs on Award Profile)
    5. Notice that while the Project Start Date and Project End Date still appear correctly, but 'Commitment Control Begin Date', and 'Commitment Control End Date' labels are incorrectly displayed as ‘Begin Date’ and ‘End Date’. This is incorrect.
    6. Click "Return to Search" and select the same award again. Notice that the Project Start Date, Project End Date, Commitment Control Begin Date, and Commitment Control End Date fields are displayed next to the Project. This is how it should exist no matter how you tab around in the award profile.

Case 2: With Commitment Control OFF at installation Options for Project Costing and Grants

    1. Navigate to Grants -> Awards -> Award Profile (Award Tab)
    2. Search for a Contract/Award. Notice that the Project Start Date and Project End Date fields are displayed next to the Project
    3. Select the ‘Funding’ Tab of the Award Profile (or any of the other tabs on this page)
    4. Go back to the ‘Award’ tab by selecting the tab (after having selected the ‘Funding’ tab or any of the other tabs on Award Profile)
    5. Notice that while the Project Start Date and Project End Date still appear correctly, two New fields appear displaying a blank ‘Begin Date’ and ‘End Date’. This is incorrect. These fields should not display.
