Symptoms
In scenarios where the applicant changes their choice of institution on UCAS, the delivered UCAS Applicant Import process (SAD_UC_IMAP) does not automatically delete the application previously created from the initial choice made by the applicant, which results in duplicate applications.
Replication Steps:
1) Import the Application with reference to your institution which would be the original choice of the applicant on UCAS (say choice number 2)
2) Change the institution choice on Choice 2 in UCAS to different institution and enter a new choice for your institution say choice number 4 on UCAS
3) The Import process creates a new application for choice number 4 also retaining the initial application number created for choice number 2.
Hence there are 2 duplicate application for the same course in campus.
