Symptoms

After configuring expense module to use the Oracle maps in an expense report, receiving a blank map when clicking Display Map

Replication steps are detailed below:

1)Setup Financials/Supply Chain>Business Unit Related>Expenses>Expense Definition enter specific Business Unit;
2)Select "Display Distance Calculator and select road and route preference;
3)Road Preference is set to Local;
4)Route Preference is set to Fastest;
5) Ensure PeopleTools>Integration Broker Integration setup>Service Operations enter "Elocation" drill down on Route Request Post link;
6) In the Rest Resource Definition populate the REST base URL with http://elocation.oracle.com;
7) In URL widget section populate Template with "elocation.libs";
8) In Default Service Operation Version widget section ensure the Default and Active tick box is selected;
9) Select Routings tab verify the Receiver Node WADL_Route is displayed and shows status of Active;
10) Create an expense report;
11) Enter Starting Point and Ending Point and click push button "Calculate GPS Distance" and display map and note that blank map is displayed.
