Symptoms
After setting up OAuth2 on PeopleTools (PT) 8.58.10, email approvals have stopped working. This is even after successfully getting the token from Microsoft (MS) Azure. The MCF Sample Pages test works sporadically. EOAWEMC, the delivered Email Collaboration application engine process fails, and the .trc trace file shows the errors below:

The issue can be replicated using the following steps:
1. Setup Email Collaboration for AWE Approvals for the process IDs as needed
2. Configure OAuth2 by following the instruction steps from Doc ID 2681748.1
3. Run EOAWEMC application engine process.
4. EOAWEMC process fails. Observe the errors above in the .trc trace file.
